As a tribute to the faithful Tele seen in Hynde's hands since the end of the seventies, this very special model has been coated in an authentic nitrocellulose paint-job before being given th Fender Road Worn treatment for a satisfying, aged look. Meanwhile, the Mid '60s C neck profile sets up this Mexican-made Telecaster with the same familiar playing feel as Hynde's very own 1965 model, while the price has been kept to a far less 'antique' level. A pair of fifties-style single-coil pickups provide pure and sweet retro tone alongside that characteristic twang, and the chrome lipstick-cover of the neck pickup, as well as the pickguard, have been distressed to carry through the fully played-in vibe. This solid signature model has been fitted with a set of more-modern and stable locking tuners complete with vintage-style buttons, and comes with a deluxe case, a Sheriff's Badge and a Custom White strap.
